The Kawartha Conservation Water Fund provides funding, knowledge and technical support to landowners and nonprofit community organizations in the Kawartha Conservation watershed area. The funding is provided to eligible projects that have the potential to positively impact water quality and ecosystem health.
About the program:
- Get up to 50% of the project cost, maximum amount of $4,000 on water quality improvement projects.
- Applications open January each year, to be submitted by April, with approval around June.
- The Kawartha Conservation watershed area includes parts of the City of Kawartha Lakes, Durham Region, and the Township of Scugog.
