If you are a Durham Region resident you can have up to four phone or video consultations with a trained Greener Homes Coach at no cost.
Our Coaches offer independent advice and can address any questions you may have about the complexities of your energy-efficiency and weather-ready projects, including any financial help and incentives available to Durham residents.
Durham Greener Homes Coaches are not affiliated with any product manufacturer or installation service provider.
You can schedule an appointment with a Greener Homes Coach through your Durham Greener Homes user portal account. When inside the portal, click on the "Appointment with my Coach" link to self-schedule a virtual appointment.
Note: After your initial free consultation you may then schedule at no-cost to you, three more phone or video consultations, of up to 45 minutes each (for a total of four, no-cost consultations).

Book a Weather-ready Home Assessment

As a Durham Region resident, you can book a free Weather-ready Home Assessment to identify practical and effective ways to protect your home from extreme weather. These assessments focus on reducing risks from flooding, extreme temperatures, and storms by helping you understand your home's vulnerabilities and guiding you on potential upgrades and local incentives.
Assessments are conducted on-site at your home, and include a personalized action plan to make your home more resilient — whether you're a homeowner, landlord, or tenant — and can be booked through your Durham Greener Homes user portal account.

Access vHEAT™ AI tool
There's no cost for Durham Region residents.
Durham Region residents have free access to Windfall Centre's, AI powered, vHEAT™ (Virtual Home Energy Assessment Tool). You can access vHEAT™ through your Durham Greener Homes user portal account.
